Sandy has over 50 years of experience. A passionate gardener, he had a greenhouse in his back yard for many years. He loves strange plants, insects and diseases and views them as a personal challenge to find the answer and the cure.

 

    Phil has a B.S. In horticulture from the University of Illinois. He is one of our landscape designers with over 30 years of experience.

    Little Nate has been with us for 10 years. He has a B.S. In horticulture from the University of Illinois and is a landscape designer and our web designer. Don't let the baby face fool you, he knows his stuff.

 

    Big Nate has been with us for 12 years. He has a B.S. In horticulture and is also a landscape designer. His background includes working at orchards and vineyards  as well as amateur beekeeping and organic gardening.

 

    Sharon has 27 years of experience in the greenhouse. Known for her lush home gardens and innovative planter combinations. She specializes in annuals, vegetables and herbs.
    

    Mike has a B.S. In criminal justice, but we pulled him into our plant world. With 14 years of experience in the sales yard, if he doesn’t know the answer, he knows where to find out. Eager to help and with a can do attitude, he puts in 110% every day.

 

    Marty makes sure everything keeps running smoothly. With over 30 years of experience, no matter what it is he knows how to take it apart and put it back together. He also builds many of our displays and gets our deliveries out on time.

 

    Katie has also been with us for 9 years as a cashier. She has an associates degree from Moraine Valley. Her photographic memory keeps track of what the rest of us forget. Her commitment to her work is only second to her family.
